“I worked with Sam in his role as Principal Designer and creative lead for Skype, Teams and GroupMe personal expression (emoticons, emoji, animation creative language etc) for about 5 years, mainly partnering him on the UI/UX and technical aspects on implementing personal expression throughout different Skype and Teams apps but also on the strategic view what is personal expressions role overall. He managed a large team of designers and animators to help produce the content and also provided them creative leadership and pitched/organised financing and also provided creative leadership for partnerships. All that superb teamwork and leadership aside he is also greatly talented and an absolute pleasure and fun to work with. Hope to do so some day again.”
